About the event
Early childhood educators who are striving to use a more reflective process in the classroom are encouraged to participate in this workshop. What educators will gain from the experience will give them the tools to help minimize disruptive behaviors that happen throughout the day. We will focus on creating supportive classroom environments where children feel safe, connected to others, and engaged in the learning environment..an environment that holistically transforms children’s lives through intentional relationship building. The key areas of focus will include:
- Understanding how executive function and social emotional learning connect in the development of life skills.
- Identifying executive function in action and common developmental challenges.
- Utilizing self-reflection and personal growth to improve interactions with children.
- Developing a relationship-based model for guiding children's behavior through focused observations and strategies.
